Testimonial:

“I am familiar with hyperbaric treatment. It has worked well on patients, particularly in combination with other modalities to treat people with chronic low back pain particularly. For any chronic pain syndromes this is a definite option that I would highly recommend. The success rate has been amazing, particularly in light of the fact most of these patients have been through various other treatments without any great success.

I plan to continue utilizing this treatment option and would recommend anyone else treating chronic pain syndromes to consider this as well.

If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to contact me.”

“On April 17, 2015 I suffered an injury of my foot while working as an officer for the Philadelphia Police Department. I have been a police officer since May 13, 2013 and this was my first injury ay work. I was diagnosed with a navicular fracture in my right foot. I was ordered to wear a walking boot for 4 weeks. In June I was given a CAT scan and it had shown that the fracture had worsened. I was then instructed to use crutches and have no weight bearing. I remained on crutches for 11 weeks under the care of Dr. Paul Hornstein.

At this time I went for a follow up CAT scan and it showed some healing but the fracture was still visible. Obviously frustrated I went for a second opinion with Dr. Justin Fleming at Aria 3B’s orthopedics. Dr. Fleming suggested that I was facing surgery because it appeared to be a nonunion fracture at this time. It was at this time that I started Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (Hbot) with Dr. Larry Moses through a referral from Dr. Adina Dees. After a few sessions I noticed that there was much less aching in my foot and I was able to walk with almost no discomfort for the first time since my injury.

I continued my treatment regimen with Hbot for several weeks and began to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I feared my foot would never be the same after 6 months of almost no progress. I went for a final CAT scan in December which showed no signs of the navicular fracture and complete healing of the foot.

I attribute my healing to Hbot therapy. I am currently in therapy and ready to return to full duty status at work. Without Hbot therapy I would have needed extensive surgery and rehabilitation and possibly being out of work for an extended period of time. I am grateful for finding this option and would certainly recommend it to anyone with a similar injury.”
