From Philadelphia Jobs With Justice –

This has been an especially important week for education justice in Philadelphia.

The #phillyfast hunger strikers are now on their sixth day without food or juice, still on Broad Street waiting for action from Governor Corbett on our schools crisis.

Support from the public is important for their morale, as they continue their fast for justice and safety for Philadelphia schoolchildren.

The fasters have called for a mass community action in solidarity on Saturday 6/22 at 2 pm at the #phillyfast tent at Broad and Walnut. All are encouraged to join them, particularly if you haven’t been able to make it down to the fast tent yet.
