A 60 Minutes Segment that aired tonight demonstrated the future of automation in the work place and how robots will be replacing people at alarming rates. At one point, it demonstrated that a $22,000.00 Robot working in the place of a person is equal to paying a worker $3.35 an hour therefore saving the company more money than if it hired a Chinese worker.

The segment also said that the robotic automation will allow American manufacturing the ability to more effectively compete with China and within 3 years there will be a huge increase in American Manufacturing. ONLY ONE PROBLEM, ALL THE JOBS WILL BE GOING TO ROBOTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING SOME ALREADY RICH GUY (PROBABLY FROM CHINA BUT WHO REALLY CARES WHERE HE IS FROM) RICHER!!!!

Only one question 60 Minutes did not ask when it was talking about the amount of computer science/automation tech jobs that were going to be created due to the robots, WHAT HAPPENS TO THE FACTORY WORKERS (IN THE USA AND IN CHINA) WHO ARE OUT OF JOBS BECAUSE THEY WERE REPLACED BY ROBOTS?????
