Thousands to rally on Independence Mall to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. by standing for a Better Philadelphia for ALL.
Dr. King’s dream of a just society that protected the rights of working families is under attack in the City of Brotherly Love.
With that in mind, thousands of union members, along with leaders of local and national unions, will be holding a rally on Independence Mall to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. by standing for a Better Philadelphia for all Philadelphians.
The Rally Honoring Martin Luther King, Jr’s commitment to a just society will feature the following speakers:

The rally will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Program starts at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
The location of the rally will be at Independence Mall along Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets.
