II) Injured Workers Advocacy Program

I. PhillyLabor Injured Workers Priority Care Centers “Caring for Workers Suffering from Job Related Injury and Illness”

WHY?

Advocating for individuals injured or disabled on the job as well as those suffering from job related illness is a long overdue initiative.

Unfortunately, till now, there has been no organized healthcare network dedicated to our workers suffering from job related illness/injury. As a result, legitimately sick and injured workers often encounter devastating issues that prevent them from obtaining the quality medical care and benefits they need to recover from their injury or illness.

WHAT?

The labor endorsed PhillyLabor Injured Workers Priority Care Center Network, is an independent region wide network of premium injured workers medical facilities and specialists organized specifically to treat the needs of injured workers and those suffering from job related illness.

How It Works?

Upon suffering from a job related injury/illness, the worker (or worker’s rep) contacts the Injured Workers Intake Center at 267-250-1375 and is presented with info and a list of options to visit the Priority Care Center of their choice for diagnostics, documentation, diagnosis and quality care; *Key elements that insurance co. panel Drs. often do not facilitate thus contributing heavily to the denying of benefits and care for up to 50% of injured workers.

PRIMARY BENEFITS OF THE PHILLYLABOR INJURED WORKERS PRIORITY CARE CENTERS NETWORK:
